Mexico City, Puebla and Chile are the places of the childhood and early university education of Paulina Herrera, architect born in 1978.The thesis on "The moving image and the dynamic perception of architectural space" is the embodiment of a young professional who arrived in Sardinia in 2009 for a PhD at the University of Cagliari. In her delicate but tenacious perpetual motion, Paulina learns to weave workshops in Samugheo with the historic craftsperson Maria Antonia Urru, starting as a designer first, then as a weaver to experiment, create and also teach.

From architecture to figurative arts, from design to the creation of handcrafted pieces, for a creative like Paulina the leap is as short asthe distance between Latin America and an island in the Mediterranean.
